Gamania to Bring Warrior Epic to Asia

It has been announced today that Warrior Epic is set to be released in Asian markets such as Taiwan and Hong Kong.

In order to to accomplish this, True Games Interactive has signed with one of the top Asian game publishes, Gamania, to bring the game to the region.

New PvP Gameplay, Region

Hot on the heels of the launch of Warrior Epic is news of the game’s first expansion of content. New PvP gameplay for players level 10 and above, as well as an entirely new region, "Trogken Swamps", will be made available to players in a patch to be released this July.

The new expansion is scheduled to launch in July and will include all-new PVP gameplay that will be available to players who are level ten or higher. The Classes and the Hall itself can be upgraded visually as well as functionally. Players adventure together in multiplayer campaigns, adventure mode, solo quests and soon, PVP.

One of the most unique aspects of Warrior Epic is that death does not mean the end of a warrior. Instead, it opens totally new and strategic options for players. The game’s unique Warrior Spirits System enables fallen warriors to not only be revived at any time at their hall, but also to be transformed into Spirits that can be bound to weapons to increase and open weapon abilities and skills, or they can be called out to inflict massive damage depending on player needs.

Launch Day Interview

The new microtransaction based MMORPG Warrior Epic is scheduled to launch today at 5PM PST. In anticipation of the launch, Keren Kang, the Assistant Producer on the title, took some time to talk about WE and its launch.

Can you tell us a little bit about what Warrior Epic is all about?

Keren Kang:

Of course! Warrior Epic is set in the fantasy world of Orsika, on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Providence. This kingdom was named after the last remaining hope to put an end to the hundreds of years of chaos brought about by corruption of a once thriving Empire. All it takes is a sliver of hope among this tragic history to turn things around. Players will find themselves in command of a Providian Hall (essentially a castle) where they will have access to what Providence has to offer.

May 19th Launch Date Set

True Games has announced that the launch date for Warrior Epic will be May 19th.

Closed Beta Begins This Week

True Games has announced that the closed beta for Warrior epic will begin this week on April 30th.

IRVINE, Calif., April 27, 2009 – True Games, an international publisher of multi-player online games has announced the closed beta launch date of its upcoming title Warrior Epic. The closed beta for the game will launch this Thursday, April 30. Registration for the closed beta has begun, but a few spots are still open on the game’s website www.warriorepic.com so those interested in joining can register now. If selected to join the closed beta, players will receive a beta-key via the e-mail address they provided.

"We are excited to finally showcase all the updated features, cool content and all the polish that has gone into the development of Warrior Epic," said Peter Cesario, Director of New Business and Product Development. GOA to Publish Warrior Epic in Europe

True Games Interactive has announced that GOA will publish and operate their MMO Warrior Epic in Europe.

Orange County, Calif.-January 28, 2009 – Global online game publisher True Games Interactive (www.truegamesinteractive.com) announced today that it has signed an exclusive deal with GOA, Orange’s Games Unit. GOA will exclusively publish, distribute and operate True Games and Possibility Space’s upcoming MMORPG, Warrior Epic (www.warriorepic.com), across Europe. Earlier this year, True Games and GOA also partnered on True Game’s and Petroglyph’s upcoming MMORPG, Mytheon (www.mytheon-europe.com), which will be available later this year.

PIT FIGHTER

Pit fighters are the most powerful melee warriors. Hailing from two different regions, each specializes in different areas of combat. While the two vary in practice, both are adept in the base tactics taught by their masters. Targets that stray from the herd are dominated by the sheer power of the Pit Fighter’s melee swings. They are experts in hand-to-hand combat which allows for skills in AOE melee strikes. Their instincts are to defeat enemies swiftly, while escaping danger when overwhelmed. Pits have the ability to "Master" equipped weapons and items. This skill allows Pit Fighters to have altered weapons unique to any other weapon in the Kingdom of Providence.

Six Classes Revealed

True Games Interactive has released new information about the six classes of their MMORPG Warrior Epic.

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., (January 22, 2009) – True Games Interactive, an international publisher of multi-player online games, revealed today the exciting details and a new video of the six unique character classes in Warrior Epic (www.warriorepic.com). New TQ Defiler.NET and TQ Vault!

Hello fellow Titan Quest fans! I know it has been far too long since there’s been updates to this page for TQ related tools so here goes nothing!

For those out of the loop, the latest TQ Vault (currently managed by EJFudd is now up version 2.3.0.4!! I’ve added the file required for those who want to use their native language. I’ve updated the ‘Editors and Tools’ section to reflect the new version, or you can follow the official thread located here

As many of you know the TQ Defiler.NET has been long overdue for an update as well, a new release has been put up yesterday (1.3.6) including many new fixes. You can find this under the ‘Editors and Tools’ as well or via the official website for download located here

Hope everyone is still enjoying Titan Quest, the game still shines even today. 🙂 And don’t forget to check out Grim Dawn by the same makers as TQ here

Ex-IronLore Employees Form Crate Entertainment!

A big hello to all fans of Titan Quest, Immortal Throne, and the once great IronLore!

For those who haven’t been over to the TitanQuest.net forums, I wanted to let you all know that former Lead Designer of IronLore has moved on along with other former employees to form Crate Entertainment.

Their larger scale project Black Legion is awaiting funding, but in the mean time they are developing a smaller scale (probably limited to online distribution) game using the Titan Quest engine named Grim Dawn. This game is pre pre pre development but I think the screenshots are looking quite promising, you can head over to the game’s website here where you can see screenshots as well as check the forums for game updates.

Also available is a contribution style preorder for those who are truly die hard. Please read the full text on what this means before you do it. 🙂

New TQ Defiler.NET and TQ Vault!

Hello fellow Titan Quest fans! I know it has been far too long since there’s been updates to this page for TQ related tools so here goes nothing!

All Your Epic Clubs

The folks over at Bright Hub are working on ahuge listof all the Epic Clubs in Titan Quest.

Epic clubs are those melee weapons that are rare and magical with plenty of good stat bonuses should you have the requirements to wield them. Some are parts of different sets and others are stand alone. This reference will tell you which is which, the club’s requirements, and the stat bonuses you will get for having it to use.

From the +15% Damage Kiss of Lethe to Santa’s Cane, they’ve created a comprehensive listing of all the available clubs.
