Nessie the Loch Ness Monster

Find Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster in Wonderland Online. Contrary to popular belief, Nessie actually prefers the warm Mediterranean Sea and can be found there. Watch out though, Nessie may swallow you whole when you find her. If this happens, expect to wake up within the giant beast.

IGG tells us you’ll be able to find your way out by approaching either the Puppet Master in the small intestine or Robinson in the large intestine, with where you go from there being up to you. But I don’t know, I think wherever you go, you’ll be coming out of the same place!

Wonderland Online: Loch Ness Monster

For those who venture into the whimsy of Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php), they’ll find almost anything can appear in the virtual world of Wonderland – even the legendarily reclusive Loch Ness Monster! No one knows much about this monster, except from the videos and pictures depicting a large dark shadow moving along the surface of Loch Ness. Inspired by this mysterious legend, the Wonderland Online dev team has a new boss based on this legend, Nessie – the Loch Ness Monster! In the game, Nessie isn’t as fond of the cold waters of the foggy loch as previously thought, and instead prefers the warm, sunny Mediterranean…

The adventure to find Nessie starts on the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean Sea. There, players will come across a mysterious coral rock (X: 3702, Y: 2215). Touch it and suddenly a long slender seaweed green neck rises from the flat calm water. Blazing red eyes will stare hungrily, just before a huge mouth swoops down and swallows everyone up.

When characters regain their senses, they’ll be in complete darkness. Slowly it may dawn on them they have fallen into the belly of the beast! The cavernous interior is littered with the hulks of broken ships and the occasional sailors bones. It’s not safe here, so watch out for attacks, but if they can survive, they’ll find two other survivors to aid in the escape. One is the lonely Puppet Master in the small intestine (X:3122, Y:875), the other is Robinson in the large intestine (X:2642,Y:995). Where players go from here depends on what they decide to do, it’s up to them…

These are definitely not your typical couture collections, however, they will have you looking like you just walked out of Versace of Disneyland. So give your Wonderland Online character the ultimate makeover and see how good your taste in fantasy fashion really is!

Strange Eye-drops

Allows for players to change the color of their characters eyes and some special items they are equipped with. This item allows you to get your equipment matching perfectly so that when you step into battle, you only have to worry about clashing swords, not clashing colors.

Color Mask

This special mask let players adjust the color of their body. Choose from a variety of fun and interesting colors to give you just the right effect. Scare your friends as the green man from outer space!

Hair Dye

To produce this item, players need to combine 4 dyes. Then simply use the resulting hair dye to change the color of your hair. Look like a rock star with bleach blonde streaks or jet black spikes, or get really crazy and go for the always popular pink and green!

Clothes Dye

Clothes Dye is especially useful now that summer is here. This special dye allows players to change the color of their clothes, including underwear, so lots of players use it before we hold the always popular Bikini Party event.

The folks at Wonderland Online have announced a series of events to celebrate the one year anniversary of the game’s launch.

On March 27th, 2009,Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) will be celebrating its first birthday. In the past year, 8 servers have gathered more than 1.4 million members. To thank for players’ wonderful support, Wonderland Online will offer you a series of events:

New Year Events

IGG has announced a series of events to celebrate the New Year in Wonderland Online.

With the New Year in sight, the Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com) Team has planned several interesting events for players to enjoy right through to 2009.

1. Drive Your Turtle Car III

Players who have never purchased WLO Points Cards and exchanged them for WLO Points will, from January 1st until January 10th EST (GMT-5), be rewarded with a cute Turtle car.

2. Win Double EXP Together

Wonderland Online will hold the Double EXP event for one day if the maximum number of concurrent users is 25,000 or more from 6:00pm, January 2nd until 1:00 am, January 3rd.

3. New Year Fortune Bombing

Wonderland has released its New Year’s Fortune Bombing! From December 31st to January 5th, 2009, players can spin the wheel using their credits. The WLO team has many amazing gifts prepared for everyone.

4. New Year Pleasant Surprises

From January 1st to January 10th EST (GMT-5), players who have consumed at least 500 Wonderland Online points in total will receive 20,000 Gold as a New Year’s gift. In addition, the top three players who have consumed the most points will be awarded big rewards.

Transfer Mirrors and Class Changes

IGG has announced the addition of the Transfer Mirror to Wonderland Online’s item list, which allows players to change classes.

The new item in Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) this time is the Transfer Mirror!! If players want to change classes freely, they can have a try.

Transfer Mirror

Are you tired of your current class? Do you want to try another character? If you get a Transfer Mirror you can make a quick transfer from among the different classes. Players can be a strong warrior in the day while casting arcane sorcery by night. How cool is that!

The Transfer Mirror is an item which allows the transferred players to choose the class again. If their STR>INT, they can choose one of these classes – Warrior, Killer or Knight. However, if their STR<INT, they can choose one of these classes – Wit, Priest or Seer. But, if their STR = INT, then players can choose either one of these 6 classes. Transfer Mirrors can be used only once and can be expressed and traded.

Transportation Overview

IGG has posted an overview of new modes of transportation in Wonderland Online.

Since more transport modes have been introduced into the newly released Version 3.0, Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) will be giving a comprehensive sneak preview of them. It is no longer a dream of travelling around the world and leaving people’s foot print on every corner of Wonderland Online.

Vehicle

You may have flown into the sky on a plane, or traveled the sea by steam ship, perhaps you journeyed across Wonderland by UFO. Now, the vast reaches of outer space and the world at the bottom of the sea are welcome places to visit. The brand-new Aether Landing Craft and Submarine can help you get there. Meet with the Dragon God, the Martian and the Jade Rabbit in no time at all.

Review: The cool Aether Landing Craft and Submarine can be used to do quests, as well as being a head turner for visitors to your home.

Mystic Passage in Holy Village

Find the bellman at the Holy Village Church and give him 5 stars in exchange for a Mysterious Key to the pathway. Players can be teleported to China, the South Pole, the land of the Mayans as well as three other places in the mystic passage.

Review: This is the best mode of transportation. It was available in Version 2, but as 5 stars are now needed, we recommend you use another lower-level character to do this quest, because the stars will be very useful for your later growth.

Boarded Voucher

WLO Ver3.0 has also added a Boarded Voucher function. Players can deliver a Boarded Voucher to the Crew near the sea or on the pier and then they can go wherever they want by ship. Certainly, different destinations have different fees.

Review: The Boarded Vouchers obtained from quests are useful now, but don’t forget to set a record spot after reaching the destination. This is because the Boarded Voucher just pays for a single trip. If you are teleported to other places unexpectedly, you have to use another ticket to travel again. Don’t worry, if your tickets are used up, you can purchase more in the Item Mall.

Magic Magnet

The magic magnet has a kind of mysterious power to make two persons equipped with them travel to each other whenever necessary.

Review: This is the fastest and coolest transport mode which will definitely play an important role in completing quests on the other islands. Also, it’s great for couples to quickly find each other.

Rebirth Quest Guide

IGG has posted a guide to Rebirth Quests in Wonderland Online, which allow characters of level 100 or higher to gain a new life.

In Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) version 3, players who have reached Level 100+ are able to be reborn. However, it’s not easy to finish the rebirth quest; a lot depends on excellent team work and cooperation among all group members. To assist with this extraordinary quest, we are giving a detailed strategy guide for players to use.

Location: Bangkok

Quest Name: Test from the Sunlight God

Process as below:

1st Round: One Boss Moai + Seven Moai (easy to finish)

2nd Round: Shading Puppet Lord (Water, Water Thunder Attack mastery, Level 10 Sleep and Water Shield) + Shading Puca*7 (In this round, you can kill the Boss first or the other monsters)

3rd Round: One Androsphinx + Anubis*2+ Scorpion King*3

FYI: In this round, Earth players can use Terrafication to stone the targets, after that kill the Scorpion King first, and then combat the Anubis, finally, kill the BOSS. Generally speaking, the Mage in the team should be good at MATK, the more the better.

4th Round: Kenter*1 + Terma Dragon*2 (Earth) + Water Dragon *1 (Sleep mastery)
FYI: Kill the Terma Dragon first, because it can use it’s Terrafication skill. If players have Shrink skill, you can use it to decrease their attack and defense. But more players should be alternates in case of a team member’s death.

5th Round (Valid within 2 hours): Dragon God (Wind, level 180) + Door Gods *3

FYI: Kill the Water Door God or Earth Door God first. The Water and Earth Door Gods can use Terrafication skill so they must be taken out first.

Final Round: Mahabrahman + Governors of Test Arena

FYI: 1. It never works when you activate Hot Potato to deplete Mahabrahman’s spirit. His physical attacks will deal huge damage.

2. Leave these three holy beasts alone. Their death will generate high level mobs to attack you.

Rewards: Profession Transfer

3. This is the most difficult over all, so players should prepare many alternates. Additionally, the time for this round is 2 hours.

Final Words: It’s difficult to finish the rebirth quest. However, the most important thing is players enjoy the feeling of victory after finishing the quest.

Version 3 Item Overview

IGG has released new information on some of the new and useful items that will be available to players with version 3 of Wonderland Online.

The Wonderland Online Team (http://wl.igg.com) has announced that 3 more new items from version 3 are now available for all players to enjoy. Is it annoying that traveling involves so much hassle? Do you want to talk with your Maid Robot as you wish? Do you want to avoid losing both you and your pets’ EXP caused by death? The New Items in Version 3 are here to make all these dreams come true!

The following are details about the 3 new items:

Wisdom Crystal

1. Double click the Maid Robot you have purchase and a Wit Maid manufacturing window will pop up. One Maid Robot and one Wisdom Crystal are needed to make a Wit Maid.
2. Click the Wit Maid and you may be surprised to find that the Wit Maid can talk to you.
3. Function 1: Players can store or draw pets at any time.
4. Function 2: It can be used as a mobile tent which allows players to deposit and draw items freely without opening their tent.
5. Function 3: Players can order human pets to do the manufacturing instead of themselves.

Boarded Voucher

1. Go find the sailor NPCs at the beach or docks and talk with them. The quantity of the tickets will differ according to the distance.
2. For teams, the team leader can give the NPC all required tickets so that all members will travel together.

Protective EXP Pill

The EXP loss caused by death in a higher level character can be a big deal for all players. Players should be very careful in AFK mode, when completing quests or PK, because every death will lead to several days’ EXP obtained through hard work being lost. However, this is not a problem if you use a Protective EXP Pill. This item does exactly what it says, namely, protect players’ EXP from being deducted after death during the effective time. But it only protects players EXP, nothing else.

Both player and pet will not lose any experience for 3 hours after using a Protective EXP Pill. One Protective EXP Pill can only be used. Players can click the icon at the right bottom corner to find out how much time is left. Remember, Protective EXP Pills cannot be traded.

Tips for Your Next Life

The folks at Wonderland Online have posted tips and suggestions on how to use the games Rebirth System.

The Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) Rebirth System was released with WL 3.0, and players can be reborn once their level reaches 100+. Here are a few suggestions regarding rebirth.

Rebirth Rules

STR > INT, reborn to be Fighter (Killer, Warrior and Knight)

STR < INT, reborn to be Mage (Wit, Priest and Seer)

Rebirth Suggestion

There are 2 main ways to be reborn: One is to strengthen your original advantages, for example, a Fire Fighter with high attack power can be reborn as Killer. Another is to make up some skill shortfall, for example, assistant Earth or Water classes could be reborn as a Mage or Knight.

Advantage for Different Classes

Killer: High attack power

Warrior: High melee defense, good class skills

Knight: High speed, good class skills, good at using saddle (Even equip Magic Saddle or Bash Saddle can get the knight’s bonus)

Wit: High magic attack power, high sealing rate, high anti-sealing skills, good class skills

Priest: Hidden attribute (related to WIS), deduce damage by 30%, anti-sealing skills

Seer: High sealing rate, good speed

Analyses for Class and Attribute

Fire: Suitable for all classes. Suggestion: Gives priority to attack and others to be assistant. But the Knight is an exception.

Water: Suitable for many classes. Suggestion: Water Priest and Wit are the best choices. A Water Killer is not as good as the others.

Earth: Suitable for many classes. Suggestion: Earth Priest, Wit, Seer and Warrior are better choices. The Earth Knight is not as good as the others.

Wind: Best for Knight. Wind Knight’s speed can be 800+ even when the AGI is less than 20 when equipping the SPD Ring. Thanks to its high speed, the Wind Knight’s attack is so powerful that they become very strong in PK. What’s more, the Wind Knight has amazing class skills.

Rare materials

Players can find different items in this store, on its shelves are the rare but useful materials for crafting, which cannot be found outside.

Compounded Gear Box

There are many delicate boxes here too. Players may get high level gear after opening them. Who knows, what you’ve been searching for could be sitting on her shelves waiting for you!

HP & SP Potions

When you are thirsty, you can buy drinks from this helpful lady. All the drinks there have special functions which can help you to defeat enemies easier.

Draw Money Conveniently

Even more convenient is the ATM in the store. Players should not be afraid of not having money with them when shopping here.

Heat Food

If you get hungry, don’t worry, in the fridge there are also many different foods. Cold food is unhealthy, so you can use the microwave oven to heat it up after spending a little money. This hot food provides players with more HP&SP.

Version 3.0 and New Server

IGG has announced the release of version 3.0 of Wonderland Online along with the launch of a new server, and they will be holding a host of events to kick off the launch.
