Welcome to the Synergia of Argonnessen homepage!
Dungeons and Dragons Online is our game, our addiction–we absolutely love it, we love the company of elitists who run Epic Elite content with one hand tied behind their back, we love the fearless recklessness of noobs who at level 20 have yet to learn what Heavy Fortification means, we thrive on the friendships we have created in and outside of our guild. As much as the treasure hunt for the shiniest and bestest gear and the challenges of the hardest quests fascinate and mesmerize us, without a focus on the social aspects of the game and the interactions it allows, most of us would not be as happy here as we are. Proud of our guild and our abilities, we constantly seek to improve our gameplay, make new friends, and support others in their effort to learn the game and have a good time. We are, for all intents and purposes, mostly elitists with a soft spot for our friends, and for those with common sense and the potential to develop their skills, even if they have a long way to go. We all once did. We are, however, also fully aware of the fact ” You can’t heal stupid” and will call you out when we see you act that way.
Synergia was created in November of 2012, out of the active members of Single Malt Addicts, the first guild to reach level 100 on the Argo server, Fine Antique Legware (formerly Britches and Hose), one of the most respected guilds on Argo, and Drunk with Power, a more recently created powerhouse guild of friends who came from Noble by Design and elsewhere. Friendships forged in the past few years of playing DDO, and the courageous spirit of a number of players from each of the guilds made the merger possible, and we are excited to have had friends join us from other guilds in recent months, though we are NOT actively recruiting.
True to the endeavor, we chose the name Synergia (Synergy is the interaction of multiple elements in a system to produce an effect different from or greater than the sum of their individual effects. The term synergy comes from the Greek word synergia…[…]…meaning “working together”. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synergy]). We offer a safe and caring home to elitists, wanna-be-elitists, will-be-elitists, TR fanatics, and a number of more laidback and casual players, who manage to remember that there IS life outside the game.
